The 2021 Pinot Noir La Colline du Château was harvested on the granite soils of Grand Cru Schlossberg. It was fermented with 20% whole bunches and spent 18 months in oak. The color is translucent, and the nose opens with ripe mulberry and just a lick of vanilla—tender, fresh and bright. A little oak on the palate clouds the fruit, while the 2021's freshness presents as luminous brightness. The fine tannins have a gentle crunch. The aromatic purity of mulberry shines right through to the finish. (Bone-dry)
