The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes is deep and complete, unwinding in the glass with aromas of cherries, raspberries, rose petals, peonies, sweet spices and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered, it's rich and textural, with lively acids and a long, saline finish. This looks likely to emerge as Felettig's best Feusselottes to date.

The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuesselottes 1er Cru from vines planted just after th ‘56 frosts, contains 100% whole bunch, the stems neatly integrated on the nose with fresh black cherry and bilberry fruit, just a touch of tobacco. The palate is very refined and harmonious with fleshy red fruit, gentle grip and a lightly spiced finish. This is pure class.

100% whole bunch. Vibrant pure purple, with an enchanting nose, extraordinary punch without any heaviness. The aromatics are wonderfully fresh, roses in their ascendancy with little red fruits behind. This comes from the section called Grands Murs, on a flat limestone terrace which is quite different from the earthier main body of Feusselottes. 13,6% with very good acidity plus the freshness of the whole bunch.

(from a .17 ha parcel in the climat of Les Grands Murs; ~25% whole clusters). Reduction. The middle weight flavors are clearly ripe with their blend of energy and refinement before terminating in a crunchy, saliva-inducing and moderately austere finale. This is built-to-age and also a wine that’s going to require at least some patience. Very promising.
