    This sample shows that the 2015 Barolo Mosconi Vigna Ped is surely a child of its hot vintage. You really can feel the warmth in this dark and concentrated Barolo and its 15% alcohol. There is a lot of round, ripe and fruit- forward intensity here, but there is no doubting its elegance. Dark fruit notes mix with earthy tones of potting soil and dark truffle.

    The 2015 Barolo Mosconi is deep, succulent and richly-textured on the palate. The intensity, power and gravitas of Mosconi comes through in a wine of dark, brooding intensity. Smoke, leather, scorched earth, tar and licorice add to the wine's distinctly virile personality. I would prefer to drink it on the earlier side. 2021 - 2030.

    Utrolig sjælden Barolo fra den sydvendte Mosconi-mark, som er kendt for magtfulde og langtidsholdbare vine. Den sydvendte Mosconi-mark giver en vin som rigere og blødere end de ganske stringente Vigna del Gris og Sori Ginestra. Vinen fremstår let teglstensfarvet i glasset. Duften er klassisk med sine intense toner af rød bærfrugt, viol, trøffel og marcipan. Smagen er rig og generøs med en nuancerigdom, som man kun finder i de bedste Barolo-vine. Der laves kun få hundrede kasser af denne sjældenhed.
