2013 Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta di Argiano

Argiano's 22ha in the southwest sit at an average altitude of 300 metres, basking in the warm winds blowing in from the Maremma. After a year of ageing in French barriques and tonneaux, the wine is transferred to larger Slavonian oak casks. The wine opens with vanillin, sweet spice and black cherry nuances. Succulent fruit is well framed by sturdy tannins, and enticing leathery notes reveal themselves on the finish. Drinking Window 2018 - 2026.

This is a delicately assembled wine that shows the deft hand of the winemaking team behind the scenes.
