    Barolo Mosconi

    Den sydvända Mosconi vingården producerar ett vin som är rikare och mjukare än de ganska stränga Vigna del Gris och Sori Ginestra. Vinet är lätt tegelfärgat i glaset. Doften är klassisk med sina intensiva noter av röda bär, viol, tryffel och marsipan. Smaken är rik och generös med en nyans som bara finns i de bästa Barolo-vinerna. Endast några hundra lådor av denna sällsynta produkt tillverkas.

It is also the wine that most clearly illustrates the challenges of the warm growing season because of the due south exposure of the site and this vineyard's tendency to produce big, extroverted Barolos. Dark cherry, plum, mocha, chocolate, plums and new leather meld together in a sumptuous, racy Barolo that will offer its greatest pleasure to readers who like big, ample wines.
