A staggering essence of the ripest mangos and oranges that you can imagine. Enormously concentrated, but no less focused on the luscious palate, this feels a lot sleeker than the analytical stats would lead you to believe. All the elements are very precisely balanced, and the wine shoots off into interstellar space on the palate. Gigantic aging potential, but also gigantically delicious right now. Drink or hold.

Strong golden yellow, silver reflections. Delicate herbal savouriness, fine stone fruit nuances, a touch of dried fruit, discreet nougat, candied orange zest, multi-faceted bouquet. Complex, tightly meshed, fine fruit sweetness, underpinned with a pleasant acid structure, mineral and long lasting, already very well developed, still some baby fat, elegant wine, certain ageing potential.

97P+: The dark golden-colored 2019 Trockenbeerenauslese No. 6 Welschriesling Zwischen den Seen offers a darker-toned bouquet of super ripe peaches, apricots and quinces as well as salted fruits, toasted and salted almonds and salted caramel. Rich and generous on the palate, this is an expansive, intense and seamlessly textured Welsch TBA with lots of residual sugar (235 grams per liter) and saline acidity that leads this highly promising sweet wine to a long and intense, super aromatic and refined finish that is uplifted by the refreshing salinity. A great wine to be aged for at least a decade. 9.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork.
